The majority of our funding comes from regular giving from our congregation. We do not have a weekly ‘offering’ collection as we want people to consider their stewardship to God’s work here at Holy Trinity Barnes prayerfully and so the majority of our income is from regular bank standing orders. This also makes our financial planning as a church easier. We are a ‘church plant’ and the funding of our church is slightly different to a ‘normal’ Church of England church as we are for instance directly responsible for the stipend (salary) of our vicar.
If you are a tax payer and sign a Gift Aid Declaration Form, we are able to claim an additional 25 per cent on any gifts you make.
