A New Chapter for Holy Trinity Barnes

A Joyful Welcome to the Reverend Katherine Miller.

It is with great joy and thanksgiving that we announce the appointment of the Reverend Katherine Miller as our new Vicar of Holy Trinity Barnes. Katherine will be joining us in April 2027.

​

After many months of prayer, reflection and discernment, we are delighted to share this wonderful news and look forward with great hope and excitement to the next chapter in the life of our church.

We give thanks to God for His faithfulness and guidance throughout this journey and are very much looking forward to welcoming Katherine and her family into our church community.

​​Introducing Katherine

​

Katherine is passionate about helping people grow in faith and encounter the risen Jesus. She has a heart for hospitality and welcome, and loves creating spaces where people feel they truly belong. She is looking forward to building on the life and ministry of Holy Trinity Barnes, working together with the congregation to share Christ's love with the wider community.

Katherine studied Theology at Durham University before training for ordination at St Mellitus College in London. She completed her curacy at St Matthew's Church, Fulham, and has most recently served as Associate Vicar at Holy Trinity Church, Claygate. She also has a background in teaching and chaplaincy. As Katherine prepares to leave Holy Trinity Claygate, we recognise that this will be a time of mixed emotions for her and the congregation she has served. We are grateful for the ministry she has shared with them and pray God's blessing upon the church as they too prepare for a new chapter.

Katherine is married to Andrew, and they have three children: Freddie, Isabelle and Max. As a family, they love spending time outdoors, cycling, walking holidays and enjoying good food, especially barbecues! Katherine also enjoys long runs, painting and being creative.

The whole family is excited about getting to know the people of Barnes and becoming part of the Holy Trinity community.

As we prepare to welcome Katherine and her family, we pray that this new season will be one of renewed hope, spiritual growth and deepening fellowship.

Our hope is that Holy Trinity Barnes will continue to be a place where faith flourishes, friendships deepen, and people of all ages and backgrounds experience the love of Christ.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported and prayed for our church throughout this time of transition.

We invite you to join us in praying for Katherine, Andrew, Freddie, Isabelle and Max as they prepare for this new chapter in their lives.

With thankful hearts and joyful anticipation, we look forward to all that God has in store for Holy Trinity Barnes.
