Yesterday we gave thanks to God for the ministry of David Cooke as he leads his final service at Holy Trinity Barnes.
Fourteen years ago, David faithfully planted our church, and through his vision, leadership and love for Jesus, Holy Trinity has grown into the community we know and cherish today. His faithful pastoral care has touched many lives and helped build a church rooted in faith, hope and the love of Christ.
We are also deeply grateful to Rachel, whose wonderful ministry through Trinity Kids and Bubble Church has blessed so many children and families. Along with John and James, the Cooke family have shared not only their gifts but their lives with us. Their kindness, generosity, laughter and friendship have left a lasting mark on our church family.
As they begin this exciting new chapter at Itching Valley we send them with our love and prayers. May God go before them, bless them abundantly, and use them powerfully in their new ministry. We also pray for their new church family, that together they will know God’s presence, grow in His grace, and be a light to their community.
David, Rachel, John and James—thank you for everything. You will always be part of the Holy Trinity Barnes family, and you will be greatly loved and deeply missed.
